About the Artist
Full name: Kingsley Chimeremeze nwangborogwu Artist name: King Jacob
King Jacob is a multidisciplinary self-taught artist from Enugu, Nigeria. Diagnosed with dyslexia at an early age, he explored painting as an alternative communication tool, allowing him to express emotions that words could not capture. For King, art transcends mere aesthetics; it serves as a medium for advocacy, cultural representation, and self development.
Through vibrant colors and shapes he creates contemporary African street artworks that reflect his unique worldview. King uses his art to tell true stories, focusing on personal experiences and those from his immediate environment.
His paintings have been featured in numerous exhibitions worldwide, primarily through collaborations with Satellites of Art and Saatchi Art, which have facilitated connections with other artists and collectors.
