Artwork story

Think Right #2 explores the tension between physical strength and inner struggle. The muscular figure, symbolizing outward power, wears an underpant on his head, representing a mind ensnared by sensual thoughts. This garment signifies misdirected potential, while "Think Right" calls for a mental shift toward clarity and purpose. The background colors heighten the psychological turmoil; the red smearing the figure's face represents temptation that tarnishes character and reflects an internal battle that undermines confidence.

As a child, I was captivated by wrestling, particularly by Mill Mascaras, a masked wrestler and IWA champion. Inspired by him, I often wore my underpants on my head as a makeshift mask. My work draws heavily from childhood memories and experiences, using layered symbolism to convey deeper meanings. In "Think Right #2," I invite viewers to consider the unseen battles of the mind and the impact of thoughts on one's destiny.
