"In Stillnesses" examines the theme of reflection, highlighting that genuine introspection and future projection emerge from a state of calm. This work encourages viewers to engage with their inner selves, signaling the beginning of personal transition. Created using charcoal and pastel, the background pattern symbolizes a connection to one's roots and origins.
This piece is inspired by the process of thought, often beginning in a state of calmness. Through my work, I explore the interplay between tranquility and the complexities of mental activity. I aim to capture the essence of how thoughts emerge and evolve, reflecting both clarity and chaos. Each element is carefully chosen to represent different stages of this cognitive journey, inviting viewers to engage with their own experiences of thought and reflection. By emphasizing stillness as a precursor to deeper understanding, I hope to encourage dialogue about the nature of consciousness and creativity. This work serves as a visual meditation on the intricate relationship between calmness and the dynamic flow of ideas. The colors illustrate how fruitful our ideas can be when they arise from a place of stillness.
