Full name: Adeyemo Oluwaseyi Emmanuel Artist name: Oluwaseyi Adeyemo
Oluwaseyi Adeyemo is a Nigerian visual artist born in Lagos, whose diverse practice encompasses textile art, painting, and drawing. A graduate of the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, his work investigates the intersection of traditional techniques and contemporary ideas, focusing on themes of identity, culture, and transformation. Committed to experimentation and conceptual growth, Adeyemo aims to create pieces that foster dialogue and provide new perspectives within the artistic community.
His exhibition history includes participation in the Vav Art Exhibition at the University of Ibadan in 2015 and The Experience 2.0 at Ado Bayero Mall, Kano, Nigeria, in 2019. Additionally, he contributed to an art workshop in collaboration with Alliance De Francaise in Kano, Nigeria, in 2019.
Adeyemo's accolades include winning the MasterCard Foundation Art Contest in Canada in 2018, as well as the Hadar Art Contest and the Embassy of Spain Art Competition in the Hailerz competition, both in the USA in 2025. He is currently based in Osogbo, Osun State, Nigeria, where he continues to develop his artistic practice.

Through vibrant colors and bold forms, I aim to challenge societal norms which are not in alignment with the ways and thoughts of the Creator and also, spark meaningful conversation
