About the Artist
Full name: Mustapha Ibrahim Artist name: Kyrios Art
I don’t always know how to put it into words, but art has always been a part of me. From a young age, creativity came naturally — it was my way of making sense of the world around me. While other kids spoke their minds with words, I did it with sketches, colors, and imagination. Drawing was never just a hobby; it was my language.
As I grew older, that spark of creativity grew with me. What started as simple drawings evolved into something much deeper — a passion, a purpose, and a way to express thoughts and feelings I couldn’t say out loud. Now, I proudly call myself both an artist and a painter.
Whether I’m working with charcoal, graphite, or paint, my goal remains the same: to tell stories that matter. My art isn’t just about making something beautiful — it’s about evoking emotions, shedding light on overlooked narratives, and connecting with people in a real and personal way.
Each piece I create is a reflection of something raw, something honest. Art, for me, is a bridge — between silence and voice, between the seen and the unseen. And that’s what keeps me creating.
Artist statement: I'm an artist and painter who tells untold stories through expressive portraits. Using charcoal, I explore themes like emotion, identity, culture, and healing. My art gives voice to silence and reflects raw, relatable human experiences.
